I am so excited for the Stitches by the Sea and have now completed the booking form for you all.
Please read it carefully before submitting.
I look forward to meeting some of you at this event.
It’s here the knit away by the sea.
I have been dreaming for many many years of Knit away. A weekend with knitters doing the thing I love most. So the last few months I have been organising and planning one. So here it is.
17-19th November 2017 in Newquay Cornwall UK.
This will be a room share event with several rooms available varying in occupancy level but no more than 6 people sharing 1 room. I have 20 spaces only for this event.
The price is £200 per person a 50% non refundable deposit is required on booking.
This will include bed & breakfast, 2 evening meals and tea & coffee in the day & a sock knitting class. You will need to sign up for the sock class. Plus goody bag.
There will also be a skein swap, a mini market and a full stocked bar.
You will have to pay for lunch on Saturday plus any drinks from the bar.
The hotel is just a short walk from the sea too so you can wrap up in your winter woollies and take a stroll along the sand.
I can not wait for this event and I look forward to meeting and knitting with you all.
Hugs & Happy Needles
I made the decision a few months ago to close down my prop business. It was no longer working for me and my love for knitting was fading fast. So I have taken some time off to re-evaluate what I am doing and knit for me and my own pleasure and I have enjoyed it so much.
So where does that leave me? Well I am going in a completely new direction and well away from photography props. I am now a sample knitter for indie yarn dyers, a test knitter for pattern designers and I take on commission knits of shawls for other people as well as making and selling stitch markers and progress keepers and shawls.
Im having so much fun and I hope that you will join me on this new and exciting road.
Oh I am also planning on opening a knitting school in the Autumn which I can not wait for and I am also doing a course to become a master knitter with the guild of knitters.
